Top 3 AdSense Alternatives that Pays.

Are you searching for AdSense alternatives? Have you been banned or they didn't approve your blog? If you are reading this article, then perhaps you are one of those thousands of publisher whom AdSense banned without any warning or didn't approved it at first place. Earning from blogging is never that easy.

I was one such victim of AdSense ban. Worked for two months and made a handy 56$ from AdSense and then one day, received a mail from Google telling me that I have been "disallowed" from the program. I was not able to figure out the reason. They said, I can appeal to them and they will see it. I did that. And I got an automatically generated mail from them that my appeal has been rejected and now no more appeals will be entertained.

I have applied for Chitika lately with the belief of earning some money from my blog. And they have not disappointed me till now. Chitika is the best AdSense alternative today in the market. There are others, but the rates are not fine.

Frankly, Chitika is no match to AdSense. No other advertising program will match AdSense earnings. But chitika can be seen as an AdSense alternatives.

There are some positive points regarding them.

♦ They approve almost instantly.

♦ They do not have any minimum requirements. If you have a blog working, you are IN.

♦ They pay you for international traffic.

♦ They have almost a 100% fill rates, that means everytime your blog shows up to someone, ads will be there and you are earning.

The ideal Click Through Rate CTR for any AdSense user is 2-5%. Anything between 0-2% is considered as low CTR. One thing to be kept in mind is that CTR above 10% is also non ideal since its highly unusual if you are getting such CTR.

▌ Why is CTR getting low.

♦ The common reason for low AdSense CTR is banner blindness. People have got used to AdSense ads and they simply ignore the part of the blog that serves ads.

♦ Other reason includes putting your AdSense ads on places where your readers don't go to. e.g. If you put your AdSense ads in your footer section, high chances are that people will read your article and leave the blog without going to the footer section.

♦ One more reason can be the loyal readers. This is a controversial topic but I persnally feel that if someone visits your blog regularly, then the chances of your ads generating clicks is very low. He knows the structure and design of your blog. He knows where are ads, and most probably he will skip those portions of your blog that is not useful to him.

♦ Ad position.

Ad position is the most important factor that will decide your click through rate. People are used to AdSense ads and you have to implement them in such a manner that they look as a part of your text. You yourself may have noticed that most of the blogs contains an AdSense ad on the sidebar of rectangular size. Now, if you know its an ad, why will you click it.

So, the important thing is you put your ads in such a manner that it looks as a part of your blog. You can put ads in between your articles or at the end of the text.

♦ Ad Sizes.

Some ads sizes have become too common. People have noticed an increase in AdSense CTR with unusual Ad sizes. The vertical ads tends to generate more click through rate.

Note: However, you should not switch to unusual ads completely. The common sized ads are going to have the most competition and a high Cost per Click.

♦ Ad type.

The text ads tends to generate more clicks than the flash or media ads. Implementing text ads between your text will ensure an Increase in Click through rate of your AdSense ads.

♦ Change ads position.

The possibility is that your readers have become used to the ads on your blog. One good way of increasing click through rate is to keep changing you ads position frequently.

These are my personal experience with AdSense (although I'm no more an AdSense publisher since, they banned me). Yours may differ with these. So, the best thing is to keep on discovering the best practice.

Making Money from Blogging has never been easier. If you see Blogging as a quick earning scheme with very less effort required then you are most certainly wrong. Making money from blogging is just like any other profession will need your time, hard work and consistency.

There are several ways to make money online and blogging is one of them. Most people assume that it is an easier task to make money from blogging and start their blogging career with fliers. However, within 2-3 months they face reality and quit.

▌ Why making money from Blogging is not easier.

Requires hard work. You will need to spend hours working on contents and site's design. You will run out of ideas some times. You will not find free images for your blog. And you will find that its never easy to write a 300 words article.

Consistency. Your blog is going to be richer till you are active. Your blogs life will simply depend on how consistent you are in posting articles.If you are student like me, you will have exams. You will have no internet access at times. You will go for vacations and even fall ill.

You will have to create profiles on hundreds of social networking and bookmarking sites. You will have to share your links there and reply to all those comments (sometimes "bad") on your links. You will have to search for groups and communities and request to join.

Learning and Learning. You will have learn about Search Engine Optimization, Social Media marketing and much more. Google has a number of algorithms like Hummingbird, Panda, Penguin which you have to look after. You will have to learn to rank higher in search engines, to optimize your site, images and a hundred
other factors.

Dealing with Copy paste. Just when you start seeing some improvements in traffic and your effort in making money from blogging, you find that somebody's have replicated your blog and is ranking higher in search engines than your blog. You waste your time filing complaints and shouting to Google its your content.

Spammers and hackers. you will find people hacking your blog and spamming it. You will have to make multiple back ups of your blog, and block ip address of the spammers.

This is just a short list of problems which proves why making money from blogging is not easier. There is going to be many more reasons and you will have to tackle every problem in order to prosper.
